What is the file size limit for sharing?
You can share a combined total of 20MB (megabytes) of text and files in a single 'drop'. The progress bar in the app shows how much space your current text and selected files are using.
Is MegaShare secure?
MegaShare uses temporary, hard-to-guess 4-letter codes and all transfers happen over secure HTTPS connections. Data is automatically deleted from our servers shortly after it's retrieved or after a brief period of inactivity. While secure for everyday sharing, we recommend avoiding the transfer of highly sensitive personal data like passwords or financial information.
